On the basis of the first Covid-19 cases in Wuhan (China) researchers presented the typical symptoms of a SARS-CoV2 infection in the journal Lancet. The Covid-19 Score Test CoST is based on this data and on WHO recommendations. The test can help to differentiate between Covid-19 disease, common cold or flu (influenza).

Count the quantity of “A”, “B” and “C” in the right column.

Result:

Count “A” from 0 to 2: Covid-19 disease rather unlikely
Count “A” from 3 to 5: Covid-19 disease possible
Count “B” from 0 to 3: influenza (flu) rather unlikely
Count “B” from 4 to 7: influenzy (flu) possible
Count “C” from 0 to 4: common cold rather unlikely
Count “C” from 5 to 9: common cold possible
